Shrikhand
Ingredients :
500 gm - Greek yogurt
¾ cup - Powdered sugar / Icing sugar
¼ tsp - Saffron strands
1 tbs - milk
1 tsp - Cardamom powder
Almond & pistachios for garnishing
Procedure :
1. Take yogurt in muslin cloth , tie a knot and hang in cool place for approximately 3 hours until all the liquid drained off. Keep bowl or plate below it so all the water drained in it. (or you can also put some weight on tied yogurt to drain off the water).
2. Meanwhile Mix the saffron in warm milk until it dissolves and gives nice orange color.
3. In a bowl mix together yogurt, sugar, saffron mixture and cardamom powder.
4. Mix until sugar melts properly.
5. Garnish it with some almond and pistachios.
6. Keep it refrigerated and enjoy chilled shrikhand.
Tips :
You can use normal sugar also Just powder it in a blender.
Icing sugar gives very thick consistency to shrikhand.
For mango shrikhand you can add 3-4 tbs of mango pulp in it.

I am presently using normal sugar for preparing SHRIKHAND. As suggested in the recipe I will now try icing sugar and see the difference. Your suggested recipe are simple to follow and hence enjoy following the same.
